Classes and Rehearsals

Rookies

Rookies is a 60 minute group class where we run through units on each instrument in a rock band ensemble (drums, bass, guitar, keys, vocals), and students get the opportunity to try each. Through Rookies the students get an understanding of what they like best, and then can move into lessons on a particular instrument after that. We are currently running Rookies on Wednesday nights at 5pm - no practice or instruments at home are required for Rookies! As far as pricing, Rookies runs $175/month, and for students who come with some musical experience or are progressing along and want to learn a specific instrument, we offer a Rookies+ option for $225/month that includes a weekly 30 minute 1:1 lesson in addition to the group classes.

Rock 101

Rock 101 is an innovative program for kids 8-10 years of age. Beginners to experienced musicians will rehearse weekly in a fun band environment. Rock songs will mirror our Performance Program Show content and students will perform in a real show each season.

They will also learn to collaborate, communicate, and become leaders as they grow as musicians in our Rock 101 program. Price $275/ month - includes weekly 1.5 hour rehearsal and 45 minute private lesson. We currently offer Rock 101 group rehearsals Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 pm.

Performance Program

The Performance Program is designed for musicians (or aspiring musicians) who know the basics of how to play their instrument and are ready to take it to the stage. Students become ready for this program by first participating in our Rock 101 or Private Instruction programs.

Our Performance Program introduces teamwork and collaboration into music instruction. Students will learn harmonies, musicianship and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment.

Each season, students hone their music skills by learning some of the greatest songs in rock and roll history. The program culminates with a real performance in a local music venue, where students get to jam on stage with their classmates.
